[ He accepts this as long as he can keep his texts. Tomura has a long-ingrained wariness of leaving any personally-identifiable information out there, though regardless it still takes him a moment to steel himself to type this out and send it... These kinds of propositions are awfully unfamiliar, even if he can try to minimize it by rendering them transactional. ]
I recently changed my rank
I can give you a 3 of hearts if you need it and if you're willing to eventually return the favor
[ what. Hua Cheng spent all this time not knowing this?? ]
I received a token under special circumstances, but anyone should be able to, even under normal ones during the event, there was a condition that a fox who fucked 2 other foxes could gain an upgrade or a downgrade players who obtain a certain arrangement of cards can also trade it in to change ranks
[ Tomura has so many questions... he's definitely snooped enough to know Hua Cheng has a husband, did the husband not say anything? did he also not read the rules?? how do you plan on winning like this?? ]
listen if you want to win, the most efficient way to do that is to find reliable partners across all 4 suits and progress through the ranks 1 by 1, and trade cards whenever your rank changes. if you do it that way, you should be able to obtain an unbroken consecutive sequence of cards across 1 suit from 1 person. the best way to progress through the ranks quickly would be to learn the hands that can earn you points, and through those events that drop either points or tokens.
obviously you can also just look for 52 people with unique cards, but there's no guarantee you'll actually get along. still, that's a way to do it if you're in a rush and you don't care that much.
[ local husband even less likely to read the rules than hua cheng is sadly!!!!
also tomura is so helpful hua cheng definitely owes him like four mind-blowing orgasms at this point ]
I see how that strategy would be beneficial, now that I know of the process to increase ranks. Much more efficient than trying to find 51 other partners.

You changed your rank? How?
[ this is the first time he's heard of something like this happening... does this mean anyone can change rank? could he upgrade xie lian? ]
I would take your new card gladly with an agreement to return the favor if I ever change mine.

I see... [ huge if true! ] That's very useful information. I am in your debt for more than just your new card, it seems.

some unpicky player could probably do it just setting themselves up behind a glory hole for a few days.
depending on how unpicky *you* are, I have some companions who also want to leave
I could introduce you at some point
